春の訪れとともに、同窓会「桜祭り」を開催します。16回目を迎える同窓会「桜祭り」は、同窓会年次総会、DAY賞（※）表彰式、卒業５０周年祝賀など、年に一度の同窓会総合イベントです。例年は桜の花が見頃のキャンパスで開催し、懐かしい方々との旧交を温めていただく機会ともなっていました。昨年は、新型コロナウイルス感染防止のため、開催直前に急遽年次総会のみオンライン開催に変更いたしました。今年は、未だコロナ収束が見通せない中、桜祭り全体をオンラインで開催いたします。

普段キャンパスまで足を運びにくい方にもご参加いただける機会となります。同窓会や大学に関する最新の情報をお届けいたしますので、たくさんの同窓生の皆さまにご参加いただきますようお願い申しあげます。

2021年　 ICU同窓会桜祭り

• 〔卒業50周年の方対象〕15:30～16:30　期毎の交流セッション

DAY賞(Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award) は、ICUに在籍したことのある人 (卒業生・留学生・旧教職員を含む) の中から、大学、および、同窓会の知名度・魅力を高めることに貢献した方に対し、その功績を称えるため毎年授与されるもので、今年は5名の卒業生に授与されることになりました。

お願い：総会への出欠のいかんに関わらず、出欠のご連絡をお願い申し上げます。

■　オンライン桜祭り〔第1部、第2部〕に参加される皆様

1. 専用フォームにて参加をお申し込みください（3月14 18日締め切り）。
2. 3月18日(木)頃に、総会資料とオンライン参加方法のご案内をメールでお届けします。

• 14期生、15期生の皆様は、別途お送りするご案内状または、こちらからご連絡ください。＞14期、15期用専用フォーム
• オンライン桜祭りへの参加には、PC、タブレット、スマートフォンなどが必要です。参加の方法については、参加案内をお送りする際にご説明いたします。

■　オンライン桜祭りにご参加いただけない皆様

1. 専用フォームにて、総会議決権委任の手続きをお取りください。
2. 総会議決権の委任をされた方には、3月18日頃にメールにて総会資料をお送りいたします。

The Sakura Festival 2021 will be held online.
Join us from anywhere in the world, crossing geographical distance.

With the arrival of spring, the ICU Alumni Association will hold the “Sakura Festival 2021.” The festival, marking the 16th of this year, is an annual comprehensive event consisting of a general assembly, a celebration of the 50th anniversary of graduation, and a DAY award (*) ceremony.  Each year it has provided a wonderful opportunity for alumni to gather enjoying and renewing friendship on campus under beautiful cherry blossoms.  Last year, we decided at the last minute to hold only an online general assembly in view of the spread of COVID-19. This year, as the containment of the pandemic still cannot be foreseen, we have decided to make it a comprehensive online event.  It will be a great opportunity for people who have difficulty visiting the campus physically.  We will prepare the latest updates about the association’s activities and the university.  We are looking forward to welcoming more alumni to this year’s event.

DAY (Distinguished Alumni of the Year) Awards  are conferred every year on graduates, former faculty and staff, and anyone affiliated with the university, who have contributed to enhancing the recognition or appeal of the university or the alumni association. The awards were presented to five graduates for their distinguished services this year.
